Nancy A. Mbachu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Human Biochemistry and the Post graduate Sub-Dean (School of Post graduate Studies), Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU). She has a special interest in Immunology, Toxicology and Micronutrient Metabolism. She is currently an Editor in the Journal of Department of Human Biochemistry and Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University. She holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry from the University of Lagos, and a doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in Clinical Biochemistry from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She has held so many academic positions which include but not limited to Faculty Representative for Research, member of the Directorate for Research Innovation, University/Industry Research Committee (DRIUIR) and University Health Research Cluster; Secretary, Committee on Post graduate Work-Aid, Students Orientation Committee, School of Post graduate Studies, NAU. She has received numerous awards including the Federal Government Post graduate Scholarship award. She is a registered member of many professional bodies. She has collaborated with other researchers within Nigeria and internationally and have several scientific scholarly publications and conference papers to her credit. She is a mentor and an examiner for both undergraduate and post graduate students and has supervised and mentored so many students both at undergraduate and post graduate level.
