Prof. Ada Sam Omenyi is a Professor of Educational Management at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. She Obtained he B.Sc and M.Ed from A & M University, Normal USA and her PhD from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. - all with excellent results, She was the first female lecturer in Faculty of Education (ASUTECH)
Prof. Omenyi takes the first Position Naturally - She was the first female Dean of Faculty of Education, UNIZIK, first female Professor in her town, first female director of CEP UNIZIK, first Head of Department of Educational Management and Policy UNIZIK and many other firsts. She served as Senate Representative at UNIZIK 8th Governing Council; she was the Director of Sandwich Programme in UNIZIK that transformed the Unit and produced the first handbook. She was the Head of Department, Educational Foundations; South East Monitor for NTI, Kaduna, PGDE Programmes; Coordinator NTI PGDE UNIZIK; Chairperson Ogidi Home and Abroad Women Calendar Committee. Just appointed Director Chike Okoli Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies (COCES); Prof. Ada Sam Omenyi has left indelible marks everywhere she served in UNIZIK.
