Professor Anyikwa is the immediate past Director of Chike Okoli Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State-Nigeria. Before assuming this position, she served in the capacities of Head, Department of Early Childhood and Primary Education; Sub-Dean, Faculty of Education; Coordinator, Post Graduate Diploma Programme and Coordinator, Guidance and Counseling Unit in the Department of Educational Foundations. Professor Anyikwa is a teacher and scholar of international repute, whose teaching and research has spanned many decades and continents. As full-time and visiting Professor, she has taught in Nigeria and U. S. A., at graduate and undergraduate levels in Guidance and Counseling and Early Childhood and Primary Education. Her articles are widely published in national and international journals; including some book chapters. Professor Anyikwa has experience in governance to her credit having served as Commissioner for Ministries of Planning and Economic Development, Public Utilities and Rural Development and Youths and Sports, Imo State-Nigeria. She served as Senate representative of the 8th University Governing Council, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and was a Consultant to the World Bank Country Office, Abuja-Nigeria on Social Protection and Labour.
